Why Stan writes about school email
Stan built BackpackBuddy in 2026 after finding out about pajama day on Friday morning, for the third time. His kids' teachers were emailing every week, and the homework, permission slips and picture days in those emails were getting lost under everything else in his inbox.
BackpackBuddy is his answer to that. It reads the teacher emails a parent chooses, puts homework and school events on Google Calendar, and sends one digest each evening. Stan still runs it himself: when a parent emails support, he is the one who answers, and when the extraction misses something, he looks at the email himself.
